Bougainville Gold Oak Aged Rum 70cl

Located in the middle of the island the Oxenham Craft Distillery is the latest up and coming distillery from the island of Mauritius producing some exceptional rums.
Using the same base spirit to produce the White rum, it is now watered down before being aged.
The Gold is aged for a minimum of 1 year in large 3,000 lts and 600 lts Olorroso Sherry and Pedro Ximinez barrels before being blended and bottled.
It has a delicate expression of fresh sugarcane, soft wood and fudge.
