TRULY UNIQUE RUM BLEND

Master Blender’s Reserve 2024 is a unique multi-layered blend of rums from some of the best distilleries in the world. Casks were selected from Guyana, Trinidad, Barbados, and Jamaica; these were then married with Black Tot’s perpetual reserve, Master Blender’s Reserve from 2023, and some original British Navy Rum, keeping the liquid history alive.

A BLENDING METHOD LIKE NO OTHER

Black Tot Master Blender’s Reserve 2024 features a higher proportion of Barbadian rums from Foursquare, Mount Gay, and West Indies Distillery than in previous years in order to accentuate the rich tropical fruits present in the blend. Rums from Trinidad, including the legendary Caroni distillery, bring richness and intensity, whilst rums from Jamaica and Guyana bring complexity and depth. The blend is further enhanced by marrying it with Master Blender’s Reserve from 2023 and Original Navy Rum from 1970.

RICH NOTES OF GRILLED PINEAPPLE, BAKED BANANA AND BITTER CHOCOLATE

Black Tot Master Blender’s Reserve 2024 has notes of grilled, buttered pineapple with lime, chilli, and coconut. On the palate there are hints of dark sugar and baked banana along with sweet melon and guava, finishing with liquorice, dried mango, and bitter chocolate.

RUMS FROM THE BEST DISTILLERIES IN THE WORLD

For this year’s Master Blender’s Reserve, Master Blender Oliver Chilton has made his mark by adding Trinidadian rum from the closed Caroni distillery, distilled in 1997, to add richness and decadence to the blend.

Best served neat, over ice, or with a splash of water.

Bottled at 54.5% ABV, Master Blender’s Reserve 2024 has a rich and complex flavour which will open up with the addition of water or ice cubes, but is equally smooth enough to sip neat.
