Characterised by its exceptional aromas and long finish, the secret of this Premium Rum lies in the monitoring of the copper column.
As it heats, the vesous most volatile components including the alcohol, concentrate on the top before condensing into clear rum with an alcohol content of 65 to 75% before dilution.

This rum is made from pure sugar cane juice, typical of Agricole rums.

Great Service & Fab Surprise

Went on-line looking for Chamarel rum from Mauritius, having discovered it while on holiday last year. Finally found it listed on the Rum Shop web site and at a very reasonable price. Ordered 2 bottles as it appears to sell out very fast. My order arrived within a few days, extremely well packaged and with no problems. Imagine my surprise when opening my package to discover two complimentary bottles of Mauritian Phoenix beer. What fabulous service. I highly recommend this seller and of course Chamarel rum

1st Class Service

I went on the Chat on the website whilst looking for a specific Rum from Mauritius for a special gift. In a matter of hours Ken had narrowed down the actual Rum distillery and whilst that bottle is no longer available as it was bespoke to a Hotel Group, he told me which one was the same Rum in different packaging. I must add that this was on a Sunday so such diligence was certainly not expected on my part :-) So I ordered & it arrived within days, beautifully packaged and without any problems. Great Product and Great Service
