The Rum Shop brings you "The Explorer's Club"

This is a membership service geared towards our members who want to discover new products, taste and flavours.

Our members will receive at the end of each month a mystery box delivered at their doorstep containing some specially selected world's finest beverage, including rare and exclusive products such as wine or spirit or a  beverage for members to discover based on their selected subscription.

It could be one or a couple bottles of wine, an exotic Rum, an aromatic Gin, a flavoured spirit, champagne or a combination of spirit and liqueur to create an amazing and refreshing cocktail (ohhh yummmy :)); who knows.... as well as the beverage which forms part of the mystery box there will be added complementary treats and gifts such as branded glass, mixers, food pairing e.g. rum and chocolate  etc... depending on selected subscription.

Our aim is to please you all with that service. You can subscribe for yourself or purchase a subscription as gift to someone (over 18 of course)

1. What can I expect to receive during a 12 months membership?

Gold Members

During a 12 month membership you can expect to receive between 10 to 12 miniature (50ml) bottles of spirits, between 6 to 8 full size bottle of wine and beer. Full size bottle are normally between 500ml to 750ml for wine and liqueurs and 330ml or 650ml for beer; however, some manufacturer supply in different sizes; of some of the best drinks from producers around the world, including exclusive products.

Diamond and Platinum Members

During a 12 month membership you can expect to receive between 1 to 4 bottles of spirit, wine, champagne and/or beer, a minimum of 12 bottles in total. These will be full size bottle (normally 70cl for spirits, 75cl for wine and champagne, 330ml or 650ml for beer; however, some manufacturer supply in different sizes) of some of the best drinks from producers around the world, including exclusive and limited edition products depending on membership.

2. What are complimentary treats and gifts?

Our team will be selecting a range of gourmet snacks, tonics, cocktail ingredients, bar spoon, bar blades and other treats to complement the monthly mystery product.

3. Can anyone become Member of the Discovery Club?

Membership is open to any UK resident aged over 18, only.

4. When will my mystery box be delivered?

Provided your membership if fully paid by the 5th of each month, your mystery box will be delivered by 25th of the month.

5. Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?

You can at anytime during your membership period upgrade or downgrade your membership. Please email us at sales@rumshop.co.uk before the 25th of the month. The upgrade or downgrade will be reflected on your next membership payment.

6. How to cancel your membership?

You can cancel membership at any given time and all the mystery boxes received up to the date of cancellation remain yours, NO STRING ATTACHED.

You need to cancel your membership before the 5th of the month. Cancellation request received after the 5th, will be cancelled after the following month membership is paid. Please email us at sales@rumshop.co.uk and we will take care of it.

7. Invitation to product tasting for platinum and diamond members, only.

In order to be invited to the half yearly or yearly product tasting, members must have subscribed to a minimum period of 5 months membership to the respective category irrespective of any upgrade or downgrade.

8. How can I order more of any products sampled?

You can order more of the product from the mystery basket on our website. Do not forget to use your personalised loyalty discount code at check out.

9. Can I share or transfer my online membership discount?

The online membership discount is only applicable to the member and is personalised. It cannot be shared or transferred. All products purchased using the online membership discount must be paid by the respective member.

The online membership discount will be terminated on cancellation of your membership.
