This 2005-vintage rum from Habitation St Etienne has been aged for six years in American oak barrels, before spending a further a year finishing in Pedro Ximénez - Sherry barrels. This creates a sweet, fruity nose with notes of caramel and prunes mingling with delicate woody, floral notes.
The palate is smooth and sweet; dried dates and liquorice mingling with honey and tobacco.
