This golden Rum is made in-house from scratch, using the surplus molasses from sugar production and it is pot distilled.
With full control of the entire process from fermentation, distillation, cask ageing, blending and bottling, a beautifully smooth spirit which is a classic Rum was created with a honey-like delicacy which we associate with the aromas of the Weald hence the name Wealden Rum.
A delicate floral character with subtle tropical fruits, giving way to honeycomb and roast cobnuts on the palate. An elegant finish with raisin and oak and a sweet, clean mouthfeel.
