This is a blend of carefully selected fine scotch malt & grain whisky aged over 5 years in sherry casks and bottled at 46% ABV.
It was created in order to honour the original Glen Aln whisky produced in the 1950s through the Alnwick Rum Company Limited.
This non chill filtered whisky, has deep full nutty, spiced flavours with long lingering finish from the natural oils.
The nose is crisp and sweet detecting floral notes with sultanas with aromas of fresh baked bread.
A slight smoky spiced notes with medium long finish and a good hint of oak.
Best consumed neat, on the rocks or with ginger wine to create a perfect whisky mac. A beautifully smooth experience.
