Oxenham 85th Anniversary XO Rum - Limited Edition - in a Decanter and Gift BoxLocated in the middle of the island the Oxenham Craft Distillery is the latest up and coming distillery from the island of Mauritius producing some exceptional rums. The anniversary rum is made from the 1st press of pure sugar cane juice without the addition of any water. It has the same fermentation process as for wine with a cool and long process. Following which the mash is double distilled similar to whisky with an initial distillation to a low spirit and second for the final rum which come off the still. The rum is watered down before being aged for 6 years in French oak barrels which had previously held South African chenin blanc and pinotage before being bottled. PODRUM ALEKSANDROVIC "Regent" 2008 750mlThis is red wine is from the Oplenac, Sumadija region of Serbia. This is one of the finest wines of the winery, made from two classic grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The wine is dark red with a purple hue. The distinctive aroma of wine charms tonnes of blackberries and blueberries, interwoven with hints of dried plums. The wine has a rich, full-bodied flavour, filled with notes of ripe cherries, and give him a special savour smooth rounded tannins.
