After more than 3 years of aging in the purest tradition of HSE rums, this VSOP will have spent more than 8 months in Port barrels of 225 liters. This "special reserve" which enriches the range of "Finishes of the World" HSE, combines the evocative and subtle notes specific to Port wines with the delicacy characteristic of a very old agricultural rum of Martinique.
The nose opens with delicate aromas of mocha, freshly roasted cocoa, and blackberry jam. The hustle and bustle reveal beautiful notes of cinnamon, dates, and peaches with alcohol. The mouth offers a creamy and balanced first impression. The first impression notes give way to a gourmet and honeyed finish where the aromas of fig and black fruit mingle in a long harmony.
