Kamiki Original is a premium Japanese whisky that pays homage to the rich history of Nara, Japan’s ancient capital, which is surrounded by the famed Yoshino Sugi (Japanese Cedar) forests. Traditionally used to build temples and calm the mind through its aromatic properties, Yoshino Sugi plays a key role in Kamiki's unique maturation process. After being blended, the whisky undergoes a second maturation in these cedar casks, making Kamiki Original the world’s first whisky finished in Japanese casks. This technique imbues the whisky with distinctive notes of sandalwood and light spices.
