Ti Dodo meaning Small Dodo in Mauritian. An amazing present with a statement.

Ti Dodo Gold rum unique in its kind is crafted from Mauritian molasses column distilled.

What makes it unique is that during the aging process, fresh bananas, vanilla and red fruits are left to macerate in the French oak barrels.

On the nose you will get a nice pleasant light spices aromas, vanilla followed by a sweet spiced, grilled bananas and peperry finish on the palate.

A trully exception note which can be enjoyed neat, on ice or your favourite mixer

Each Ti Dodo in the bottle are hand made, hence shape/size may vary. Comes in a gift box.

I came across a brand of Mauritian rum, served in a delightful bottle, shaped like a dodo, a couple of years ago. In the interim, I attempted several times to get one myself, for a Mauritian expat who has pined for her home for the best part of fifty years. However, all the top liquor dealers in London, and not a few online dealers, blithely advertising the product, were out of stock and remain so. Then I discovered the Rum Shop in Wood Green. They had this rare little item in stock and at a remarkably fair price. I placed an order and was gratified to receive a bottle, securely delivered to my home by Royal Mail, a few days later, in a sturdy, padded cardboard box. Good service all round.

Birthday Gift.

Bought as a gift for one of my best lifelong friend's who's nickname is Dodo. He loves his nickname, he loves a drink & I know he will love his gift, thank you. If I could recommend one thing it would be that an option to send a gift note/card with an item would be nice. No complaiints. Great service & products.
