Chamarel XO Sauternes Cask Finish is Pure Cane Rum based on the same production and aging as the XO. The rum spent the first part of its life in a French Oak barrel with an extra 2 years in a ex-Sauterne wine barrel to finish it off; with a total aging of minimum 8 years.
Among the spice and vanilla, there's a whole lot of dried fruit and stone fruit influence in there too.
