From the St Aubin Premium Selection in Mauritius. The 10 Year Old is made from the same batch of rum distilled as the 15-Year-Old in 2003 these are a Limited Edition bottled in 2014. The 10-Year-Old is a blend of 10-Year-Old rums aged in predominantly ex-whiskey barrels and new French oak barrels.
It has a very charming and elegant nose, with nut paste, milk chocolate, toffee coming through. The palate is soft, with wooden aromas, flavors of cocoa and fatty nuts with a fresh cane and soft wood finish.
